2006 2500 Megacab 4wd 6 speed manual. 285-70-R17, leveled, S&B Intake, 4" MBRP Exhaust.
I generally get around 16 mpg doing my general everyday mixed driving. I've gotten just under 18 mpg on a road trip. I think this is not bad but also not great. Everybody always wants the 20+ numbers. My Lie Meter always says I'm getting around 20-22. Wish they made that a little more accurate.

We just got back from a 4,000 mile trip to Idaho, Montana and Utah pulling a 8k bumper pull toy hauler mostly @ 65mph and averaged 9.85 for the whole trip. I have no idea how so many are pulling 12-15k 5ers 65-70 and getting 12-15 mpg and empty 18-25+ at 70+ but in my real world that's what I got all hand calculated.

I'm with you Gerry, I wish I could get those numbers too. I pull 10-12k often and get about 12mpg, depending on the route and wind. when I pull really heavy, 18-23k, I get 8-9mpg. My best highway cruise has been 19 mpg, no load, on 10 in southern LA. I think I would do better with a manual. Had one in an old 2002 and it routinely got about 20 mpg.
