just did it not fifteen minutes ago.....45 bucks..not bad runs smoother i guess it was clogged or something to cause it blew a ton of smoke the first time i got on it

mine did too. but after driving for a bit it actually smokes less than before.

By doing the cat delete does it make the truck louder,or improve fuel milage??

Found it takes me longer to spool without the cat; less back pressure so take-off is "slow". Planning to put mine back in at some point in the near future to see if makes much difference.

so maybe if it takes longer to spool it might not be a good idea if you do a lot of pulling especially in mountain country??

Well, it will definitely flow better without the cat so that means your EGTs should be lower, which is better for the truck in the long run. So if you delete the cat you lose some low-end torque, but gain lower EGTs.

I put my cat back in and found I had a lot more low-end torque. More testing to do as soon as I get my EGT probe installed. Need more time!
