hi i was wandering how hard it is to replace the cp3 injection pump on common rail pickups ive done it with my vp44 and it was simple enough i know a guy whos got an '04 and '05 common rails both with bad injection pumps but both less than 80,000 on them just sitting around i just wanted to know how hard they are to replace i know the price on the pump is about the same any ways thanks for reading

 

With the proper gear Puller it's not too bad at all.

 

Use a brass pin and tap it loose if u have room. I had my front end off
