New Cummins Owner
I'm a new Dodge owner and I would like to get some honest and helpful opinions on the Smarty Jr.
I have 2004.5 Cummins 2500 4wd. This truck has 51k on it. Straight 4 inch exhaust, K&N filter and I just put an Air Dog lift pump on it, I was told the pump was down on pressure so I replaced with the Air Dog.
I recently took the truck to a local shop and had them run through everything, more of a piece of mind going forward. I spoke with the shop owner about chipping it get a little more power and fuel mileage. He recommended the Smarty Jr.
I do not want a hot rod. I use the truck occasionally for pulling a 29ft travel trailer and 28ft race trailer (tools, chevelle and golf cart, I'm guessing 9k) Otherwise the truck is being driven "light duty".
My last truck was a 05 F250 Powerstroke, was a nightmare since they day I bought it. I'm hoping the Dodge is a better rig.
My question, sorry long story. I need some HONEST opinions in regards to the Smarty Jr, for this truck and my application
Thanks
