this is myfirst post. I've read plenty on here from all of you helpful folks, but my issue still exists. truck starts runs a while then dies. after that it starts runs about 400 yds dies and continues this until complete shut down and cool off I guess. It has no codes but does flash the cel. I have replaced the 5 cylinder injector, fca, valve cover gasket, lift pump in the tank, and had the ecm flashed and rebuilt. Put it all back together and it does the same thing after 3 days of running good. I'm guessing cp3 or injectors cause really not mubh is left is there? This is my first cummins and I loved it for 3 yrs till this started and doesnt seem to be a single diagnosis. Now theres 2 ft of snow on the ground and I really need it to get to and from the firestation. No mods whatsoever on the truck. Cept a level kit. Thanks for beating this dead horse.

 

what are u chackeing the codes with. if the cel is flashing at u, then it should have stored codes for sure.

 

I have a code checker that reads no codes. It also shows no codes when using the manner of checking with the ignition key. Guess I lll be taking it the shop soon as they open back up.

Its fixed. I retorqued the injector tubess. 3 were loose. CEL cleared an trucks been running normal for 3 days. Next time, if there is one, I ll start there.
