2003 question

I have a 2003 cummins bone stock. I want to get beter fuel mileage out of it. What upgrade would help out? I am thinking of a cold air intake.

cat back exhaust sounds interesting, I live in a subdivision, so excessive noise would cause problems. Maybe a giant muffler, if I had a car i would get a flow master.
