Should be no more than 20 PSI with stock turbo with no wastegate mods.

I have an '06 and it's just straight-piped, with MBRP cat delete pipe, all on the stock 4" and no mods. Today, we just put a gauge to it and I'm making 28-30.

Wow, thought the wastegate opened up at 20 psi? Guess I was wrong, I had already modified my turbo on my 97 before I put a boost gauge.

I didn't think it would make that much either. How much boost can it take being all stock?

Other than turbo work and a torque plate, my 97 was stock and I was pushin 41 psi with no issues.

38psi is the max your going to get before the turbo is out of its Map, run any more boost and your going to be over speeding the turbo and making extra heat that will rob hp from you

Boost is a measurement of pressure resistance, the more boost, the less air your getting out of you engine..... on a stock turbo less boost isnt a bad thing, as long as your doing all you can to get the air in and out of your engine efficiently your going to be doing the best you can

just remember more boost doesn't always mean more power
