Default Alternator Question

The front bearing is going out (only 5 years old), and is it one that you can get uptown, or am I looking at spending $220 on a new Bosch alternator??

My uncle had a range rover and it costed him $35 to replace the bearing. Check how much it is to replace it, if the price is steep, just replace the whole thing. Thats all I really know that I can tell you. Good luck

Didn't show anything, so a new unit it is. Side note, NAPA only carries a 1 year warranty on a new Bosch alt. I know someone carries a lifetime.
