Default Interior Lights WONT STAY ON!!!!

Anybody know how to adjust the interior light timer? They only stay on for about 15 seconds and even when I hit the dome light, shut and open the door or hit the unlock. I've searched through the manual with no help. Anybody run into this?

My started doing that right before my batteries took a dump. I was thinking that it was a anti-dummy feature that would shut off at a certain voltage just in case you leave the lights so it would still have enough to crank.

Did you notice any changes on your battery gauge?

No in fact they both passed a load test too. I don't think a load tester can replicate the grid heater though.

I also had an issue with my stereo acting weird, my overhead reading -40, and a slight hard start issue, all showed up periodically but never at the same time in addition to the dome light. Then the weather dropped down and had no start issues.

I did a draw down test and didn't notice anything unusual, a minimal draw for the first few minutes then almost none afterwords.

I threw two new Interstates ins ince they were 5 years old anyway and no more electrical issues .

My '06 has done the same thing before..... seems to be an issue with the '06 models. Disconnect both batteries for 10-15 minutes and see if that fixes it. That took care of mine.
