Suggestions
I have a 2004 5.9 L 2500 ram and just turned 105 K. The other day it quit running going down the road. Started up and then quit a few times. Cranks but no ignition. Checked battery and leads too. Now it won't start. We got a P0628 code. That I guess indicates something wrong with lift pump.
Couple of questions since this is my first diesel and new to this. I have a very good mechanic with some diesel experience. So do I put in tank pump vs the fuel canister mount? Which one do I go with?
Do I need to check for low voltage to the lift pump before I go buying a new lift pump? And where is the lift pump relay located?
