new to site , new to diesel trucks , i have a 06 2500 with 5.9 24 valve . sometimes truck stalls as if you turn key off starts right back up and runs fine , but, has code 2509 took it to the dealer and they said its the fan clutch. is this possible ? sorry but gotta learn about these things somehow not even sure if i posted this properly

is that the only code you got? Did you recently add a box/programmer?

 

that is the only code , replaced batteries, checked and cleaned all grounds, the strange part it is that it only does it when is cold .ambient temp has been about 20 degrees yesterday it cycled the grid heater 13 times. it don't do it every time and gives no warning. it dont matter if i plug it in or not . truck only has 35000 miles still like new
