I had a batt. short out on my 2003 Dodge diesel 2500. Now the speedometer, heater mixer door, A/C, cruise control don't work anymore. Suggestions. You'd think it was something central, but I don't know. All fuses are good, and can't find any fuseable links burned.

 

Burnt ground?

 

Would that be the main ground, or elsewhere?

 

I would think it would be the ground somewhere in the harness... Remember, I'm just guessing based on my knowledge of automotive electrical.

 

Thanks for the return, that's what I'll do first. I'll go to all grounds and remove and clean and reinstall.

 

There are a lot of grounds, even some under the truck.

The symptoms almost sound like the body computer (part of the gauge cluster) is messed up...it affects a lot of things in the cab.
