I have a 06 with 90xxx miles. check engine light poped up took it to dodge. they said all 6 injectors are bad need new ones $4600. 2 days later i start my truck light is off and runs fine. when do u need injectors and any warning sings when they go bad.

 

I hope you didn't pay $4600 for the injectors.

injectors are usually going out or going bad when it takes to long to start, like it cranks longer than it should, also if there is a light blue or black smoke haze out of the tail pipe, rough idle, bad throttle response, etc

 

most injectors wont go bad all at once. diesel in your oil is a good sign

 

i think the dodge dealer is just trying to get some money

 

Id stay away from that dealer.
