ok i just picked up an 07 5.9 4x4 its still under the 100k warrenty was wondering if that should cover my frony pinion seal? Also any opinions on which programmer id best for it? its an automatic with a brand new 5 inch exhaust i just installed and a cold air kit. thanks for any info

i recently bought bully dog triple GT and it works really well.. i like how you can defuel if certain things are reached... its a safety to the engine and it comes with a really usefull pod that works as a gauge setup for 15 different things... i was debating between smarty, bully dog, and edge attitude.. and when i got a ride in a smarty and a bully dog.. the bully dog was more powerful and seemed to have less smoke out the exhaust... the file i loaded was the crazy larry file since i have a manual trans and i am super impressed... i can smoke the DRW as long as i want to almost in 1st or 2nd.. haha

 

So is the general concensus bully dog over smarty for autos too? How much was the bully dog if you dont mind me asking

 

I think it all depends on what you want your truck to do for you... And how many more modifications you are planning.

 

Smarty s06 is an awesome tuner for the CR 5.9L cummins. But if you want a tuner with gauges in it I would suggest looking into the edge juice cs or cts. But i would also be cautious and take it easy if you have an stock auto tranny.
