Default 2003 No power

so i just picked up a 03 3500 cc,sb fir fairly cheap. I was told the truck could use a fuel pump and a fan pulley, so i pick the truck up and drive it home and it has no damn power i get home check intercooler and intake boots, throw aairdog 150 at it and a boost and pyro gauge. take it for a run and still no power. Any suggestions on what it could be, it seems like it wants to run but just dosent

Gonna need a bit more info. Does it smoke? If so, what color? What's your new gauges telling you concerning boost and EGT's? Start easy and idle smooth? Auto or manual trans? You've got the lift pump covered with the AirDog but what's your Rail pressure?

It's a 6 spd, barely any black smoke on take off, dunno rail pressure, intercooler boost are tight, boost at shift point and wot is between 28-38, gets haven't gotten pas 1400, it has 223k on it

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Runs and idle smooth, but it did shutoff twice when I stopped fast at stoplights

Interesting. Any codes? Turn the ignition key, without starting the truck, from "Off" to "Run" 3 times... stopping on run. Any codes will be shown in the odometer read-out. Be a letter followed by four numbers i.e. P0049.

I think I'd find someone who can measure the rail pressure. Injection jump may be weak and not able to keep up with demand.

I agree with diesel dude i would try to find someone who can measure the pressure on the rail or see what it would cost for a rail pressure gauge and install it and see what it reads.

Sounds good. You should see rail pressures approaching 23,000 psi at "Wide Open Throttle".

A lot of things, plugged air filter or fuel injectors, but Jeeps act strange with dead or low batteries.
