I'm just running the smarty, but my gauge is running off a boost bolt in the manifold, so there is no digital hoops to jump through. I agree with nadir, i'm seeing 35 at full boost, and about 28 with the smarty on stock.

I saw about 29 to 30psi before the SmartyJR...so my "gauge" isn't that far off.

I think it would do more in performance mode (SW3), but I'm not going past SW2 until I get the trans taken care of.

No, it will read fooled signal and your boost reading will be off. FYI, get analog gauges for the important readings or you will be off. Adding a BF will do you no good, you need a boost elbow to increase boost. If you increase it too much then you will need a fooler to stop codes.

You have a different truck than him.

I bought the edge boost elbow. Increased my boost to 30 psi. If I put a quadzilla boost fooler on it now will that increase my boost pressure even more? What can I do to get more boost? I would be satisfied with 35psi..

A boost fooler will just clamp the voltage the ECU sees to a value that equates to about 29 psi. It won't increase your boost or power. Your truck does not have an electronic wasre gate so all the fooler will do is stop over boost codes.

More boost means more fuel or a different turbo, either will work,

I can understand the 04 to 04.5 being different, but a 04.5 to 07? Both "600s"?

I can push mine to 45 psi easily with a Smarty on SW4 and a BF. Just depends on how you want to drive them and what SW is used.

I was thinking between my 04.5 with JR on #2 and his 07 with JR on #2 and a BF...that's a significant difference in boost at almost 10psi...I'm not running a BF.

Oh, I see now...his boost fooler is probably giving the ECM (and in turn the monitor) false readings...
