My AC sometimes works good and other times it does not work so very much good. I bought one of those recharge kits at the auto parts store but I am not sure I have located the correct place to install it. The on I found is on the passenger side front corner between the grill and the battery however the connection is larger than the one on the can of refrigerent. Is it possible to charge the AC on this truck with one of these? Am I looking in the right spot? I just do not want to spend a lot of money for something that may be simple. Thanks for any help, Jim.

 

Alum. tube behind the battery near the firewall on passenger side,,,,,will have a gray cap on it.......fitting should snap on.

 

If the gauge is in the green when the compressor is off, you need to replace a switch.
