Go to a different dealer...Run some heavy duty injector cleaner through it and have em check all the injectors. As well as all of the sensors. If that doesn't help, tell em you will call Dodge and raise hell about their service and that you are goin to look at Fords after you leave. That usually gets their attention....Tell em you will find a dealer that will actually back up the vehicle with customer service and they will have many, many complaints coming their way... Good luck. Just go ape sh*t on em.

ok well when my truck first locked up i dropped the oil and ended up with atleast 4 gallons of diesel with a hint of oil so i tore the motor apart and #6 was locked up, had to chisel the rod bearing off the crank. that all got sent out, every piston had scoring on the skirt, all the pistons were washed out (no soot) so i sent my injectors to a shop in denver who sent them to 3 other places and none could test them. i know i have leaky injectors but i dont know if i can get away with nozzles or if i need to replace them, anyone know where i can send my injectors to be flow tested or whatever needs to be done to avoid another 25K dollar mistake? 20K for the truck 5K on the motor so far

I hate to hear of these problems with incompetent dealers that you have to threaten their happy way of life with misery if they dont start doing their job and put someone who actually knows about the vehicle on the problem. All of them eventually comes around to fix the problem but only after everyone involved has gone thru a several visits and stress tests.
I have little respect for most D/C/J service depts and when I had my Dodge Sprinter would almost exclusively go to Freightliner for repairs. Our Jeep, well we are not so lucky. I've seen a lot of misery but I spend the money on warranties and make them do things the right way. I am still in the hole as far as being pissed off compared to pissing them off. I hope that I dont make up the difference with this truck.

yeah i bought the truck with 123k miles, thinking hey this is a cummins, that is break in milage for it no big deal, so bein overconfident mechanic i am, i told them i didnt need the $2500 warranty and i went on my way. the only thing i can say is they took 5 grand off my loan and told me they dont want to see me or my truck again. so i went with it. now that everything is scattered i know the injectors are bad but no one can tell me if its just nozzles or what. so if anyone anywhere knows what i can do besides spend copius amount of money on new injectors without knowing which ones are bad let me know.
i had alot of problems with my moms subaru and service depts. so thats kinda how i got myself wrenching in the first place. they all are definetly little lyin S.O.B.'s but i think i know how to rectify this issue, once its rollin on all 6 again im gonna run a dirty tune and belch as much smoke into the showroom i can and see how they like it
