Default Aux trans cooler

My auxiliary trans cooler is leaking anti-freeze, I've heard some people just by pass it, if anyone has done this, how did you do it?

If your talking about the side of block heat exchanger between transmission fluid and radiator water do not bypass it. It stabilises the temperatures and keeps both sides (water and tranny) operating near ideal temperature conditions during normal operations. My experience is that the heat exchangers if leaking are almost always insufficient tightened clamps on the hoses attached to it. I have tightened numerous ones and a lot of the time the orange anti-frezze is mistaken for transmission fluid and they end up paying for repairs they don't need. Try those clamps and good luck.
