Replaces the factory filter. I know a couple of fellas that use the by-pass filter kit with the EO filters and they get around 80K on each oil change.

A particular individual that I know is checking his every 10K. I do mine every 8K and usually have to change oil at about 23-25K.

I run mine 15k miles then I change the filters, run it another 15k miles and change oil and filters. So I do 30k miles oil changes. I know if I did oil analysis I could go longer between changes, but I don't have time for that. Its also a peace of mind thing and I want my engine to go a million miles without having to go into it.

Dont have time to do an analysis and you've got the by-pass kit? Alright lazy. It would take you 15 seconds to take sample. 5 minutes to fill out the card and send in the sample. Want me to come do it for ya?

Tye, I think you really ought to give Amsoil a shot. I think it would be worth it in your new truck. If I can get this old oil filter to budge, I will put the EO filter on my truck, with Amsoil 15w40 HD diesel oil.

I was going too, but I got a better price on the Delvac and it's more readily available to me since we sell it. I get it for about $7.00 buck a quart which is also cheaper then the amsoil.
