Default 05 cummins exhaust what to get

im getting an 05 cummins and was wondering what exhaust to get. i want it loud and curious what brands you guys recomend? Or a muffler delete does it make it any louder?

i just did a 4inch turbo back straight piped from mbrp its loud outside the truck but suprisingly quite inside with the windows up sounds great though

05 and up went to a straight 4" from the factory. You can do a cat and muffler delete by using a couple pieces of flex pipe to see how you like it (be around $100 for the parts). If it's not quite to your liking, can go with a 5" kit.

is four or five inch louder? im thinking about just getting a new system instead of delete pipes.

5" will give you a slightly deeper tone.

honestly im not against stacks but not in my truck. ive seen good looking trucks and stacks but with what i do they would be in the way. Since were on the subject how loud are they when your pulling, with them next to the cab i imagine they would almost be too loud. no that anything is to loud but i think it would get old interstate driving?

stacks get old at times... i have a 5" turbo back with no muffler into a 7" stack on my 2002 and i loved the way it sounds but on long hauls it does get kinda old
