Well was at a consulting gig yesterday in Bountiful, Utah. I decided to stop by Menlove Dodge to put me out of rush hour traffic back to Salt Lake. Man, I found my dream truck. I only wish I could justify a new truck. The guy said they are motivated to move the truck. It has sat on their lot since ordered. He said they got it in February. I can't confirm or deny that comment. I threw out a really low number and he said Lets make it work. Oh man I wish I could justify it. Anyone want a 95? hehehehe only jokeing.

What was the price he quoted you?

 

I said 31K. he said, well we are motivated to move this truck because it is costing us money being on the lot for 4 months. So with this being a 5.9 and being on the lot for so long he said that is really close to what we can do. So what is 'close'? I don't know, I did not do the dance. I think you could do that easily. He said people come in and they hear 6.7, 6 spd auto, more power and go for that.

The salesman just gave out to much info you could use against him. If you want to spend a little time talking price, I think you could get a good deal out of them. I guess it comes down to how much is 1,2,3 grand worth to ya.

 

I tried to find a 07 5.9 but since it was november they said that there weren't any to be found, and if there were the dealers that had them wouldn't transfer them. All in all I am happy with my 6.7 purchase.

 

i am looking for a truck now and i have found several brand new 07`s with the 5.9.

I read "THUNDER ROAD" mentioned a lot of forums but what do you get when you get the "Thunder Road" package???
