Default Manual Electronic Shifting on an Automatic

Does anyone know if a product is made for a 2006 5.9 CTD that allows for electronic manual shifting of the transmission like on the new 6.7, 6 speeds? Our truck does a decent amount of towing our camper every year on the highway, but there is quite a bit of unloaded around town driving. It sure seems to me like I could squeeze better fuel economy in town if I could shift it myself. Any suggestions?

You are probably right... I have an 07 5.9 auto; get it moving shift into 4th pretty quick and slowly creep up to speed. Should save some fuel I think too.

I dunno, but on some automatic jeeps some guys have rewired the tranny so that they switch gears via a set of switches installed in their dash. Someone might know if that is possible with ours.
