what is the churp, i hear powerstrokes, cummins, even our fire truck with a DT466 does it, my old powerstroke and my cummins dont do that, i think thats good right?

It's belt chirp caused from the sudden stop of the engine, lots of compression.
I've never heard of powerstrokes doing it. It's not a bad thing.

No certain belts will not chirp but the factory ones do.

The goodyear gatorbacks won't chirp, if ya don't like the chirp that is.

The difference between the stick and the auto at shut down I'd figure would be the flywheel.
