Chuck, that looks good. That's kinda what I'm thinking for my Ford. I just don't like the standard issue ali-arc's, they get pretty mangled by deer, but your's looks like it should hold up with the extra uprights.

GRI, different strokes for different folks. To me, a bumper without a grill guard is useless. I hit animals on the highway, I need to protect the intercooler/radiator area from getting damaged and stranding me on a lonely road, not to mention the repair bill that runs around $5000 in this area from a hard deer hit. Basically, the more "Barn Gate" I can get on the front of a truck, the less likely I'll have to worry about repairs or worse yet, getting stranded.

Here's what i got on my '01.5. Ranch Hand, very nice but overpriced. These are pretty much the heaviest they make.

When i get my new truck, im buying bumpers from Browns Welding, they are between San Marcos and New Braunfels Tx. Basically same bumpers at a much more reasonable price.

Here is the site for the Iron Hosre set up. http://www.ironhorsetrucks.com/ Looks like they are still developing their website. Gotta good price with my local dealer Trailer Wheel and Frame.
i'm in love with that rear bumper..... what's the price on those? and do they make anything for the Second Gen? if i had that bumper i wouldn't care how close people followed me or if someone blocked me in a parking spot....

after market bumpers are fine and dandy but you have to remember that if the bumper is built stronger than the truck the "force" will go in other areas. On the 2nd gen rams its into the frame.

so no matter how beefy or how many fence rails you put on the bumper the force goes somewhere.

I went through a local dealer. I paid about $1050 for front and rear installed. And that's because I did some work for them. Regular price is about $550ish I guess. Call the manufacturer on the website posted. They might hook you up.

Sorry to the 2 post above mine. I pushed your "Thanks" buttons not knowing what they did. Now I know.

Hey, Kyle. I picked it up off eBay. They did have several of them when I bought it.
