Pros:

No VP44 Injection Pump
Better Front End
Can make alot more power than your current 2000 Cummins
Possibly 4 Full Doors
Usually better fuel economy

Con:

Doesn't sound as good Straight Piped ( IMHO )
Some Emissions Garbage
Injectors are more Expensive

I'm sure theres more of each but I can't think right now.

damn that sucks i love the sound of my truck, but where would you personally start throwing money at it? Just start getting fuel in and air out?

My signature has all my modifications to date. Mine is a daily driver and I haven't put a whole lot of cash into it. Programmer/box, intake, exhaust, and a set of gauges are all you need. Unless you're loaded($$$), stick with the basics and enjoy the heck out of your new truck.

Well I am going to swap my gauges in to the new truck, and my exhaust, so would the intake swap in as well or do I need a new one? and also I was wondering why would you choose the smarty over lets say the quad? I'm going for power and speed if that helps any.
