Flexalite says it flows from 3500 to 5500 cfm and is not reccomended if your combined vehicle weight (truck, trailer, load) is at or above 18,000. I'm still looking for factory numbers.

well I dont really have the equipment to measure flow rates so sorry, but with 40k behind my truck with the stock setup sitting about 215 in 90+ temps, with the elects, stays just a c-hair below 200 on the same run in the same truck with the same load and I dont have the fan robbing me of very needed power, my two cents deposited

BTW at full lockup with the factory fan, it moves 8500cfm vs. 5500 with the flexalite.... Not 10x more, not even 1x more.....

They say it adds HP, but dyno test shown it doesnt.
Here is a write up on testing the electric fan.

Well see the thing is I was being lazy when I said that, you got me. Now then, I have these on my truck that routinely pulls very heavy trailers and they work great, as said before, my truck stays much cooler, maybe the cfm loss is made up by the fact my old setup was on its way out, I dont know, just know it works for me. and thats first hand experience, not hearsay

so with those do they really help for towing for the price you pay for them and did you leave the clutch fan on and just added the other fans i'd like to add them my 03 cause it pulls horses around all the time and it pulls about six horses around all summer. I when to pa this weekend course when i left NH the truck was happy it was like 20 outside so it was fine but as got closer to Pa it got up to 65 outside and the truck kept kicking the fan any time over 65 mph and i was running light only had one horse , but i'm heading to ohio with it and gonna have at least 2 maybe 3 and i don't want the truck having it keep kicking the fan on it i'd like to keep it cooler so it would have to work as hard

If anybody cant keep their truck cool they set it up wrong, I don't remember the numbers, but I seem to remember it pulling more CFM than factory, plus it looks great under the hood.
