Fuel economy help
Bone stock 2005 2500 Dodge CTD - 4x4, 3.73 gears, 6 speed manual, 265/70 r17 tires, Cummins Exhaust brake. I get 15mpg hand calculated, and 80% of my daily drive is 75mph.
Anyone have any solid advice on better fuel economy? I see plenty of OMG I get 25mpg LOLZ!!!, but very little actual data.

Run 245 highway tires, not offroad tires, that will also gain you a lot.
And if possible, dropping to 65mph will also gain you probably 2mpg.

Also, I don't know where to find them, but get a 205 degree thermostat. That will also improve your economy a bit. Keeps the engine warmer all the time, get better burning of fuel that way.
Check around on the net, you can pick them up for most trucks for like $30 or less.
