Default Rail Pressure Relief

You'll find Smarty's, MP8's and Bully Dogs are responsible for most of the failures.

If you plug it it'll run fine on any tune until the injector bodies crack.

It's there for a reason.

Hi NadirPoint

How you been? Thank you for answering my question. Appreciate it! Is it safe to say that the add on boxes boost the fuel pressure and that wrecks the relief valve?

The PRV is inherently a bad design as Todd will tell you. He's a wealth of info!

I hope he's not also telling people to cap the rail.

Supposedly there's some new part called a Constant Pressure Relief Vallve that eliminates the PRV failure problem without plugging the rail. I've never seen one and don't know who sells them.

I'd like to know what they've done to it to make it work right. Looks like they are rebuilding stockers, because they want a core.

From the information that I am gleaning on the web, they modify the holes in the pintle to create an orifice.
