Default exhaust and turbos

can somone tell me if you have to have a certian back pressure on a 2004 cummins turbo i just bought the truck and i want to open it up and was thinking of a turn doun right past the cab.

OMG, I can only imagine how much that would drone in the cab...

To answer your question, a lack of back pressure shouldn't hurt you at all.

It wont hurt it at all it will just be loud as hell in the cab
