Default Fuel filter change/now no start

Yesterday my buddy calls me and says that he changed the fuel filter on his 06 Cummins and now it won't start. So I went over to lend a hand and we could not figure it out. The starter just clicks. Put some jumper cables on it and it just clicks louder. We removed the starter and had it tested, no problem there. Any ideas????

Sounds like bad batteries. Swap yours out for his and see if that helps.

Either that, or he may have knocked one of the electrical plugs or a ground wire loose.

could be a dead spot in the starter try hitting it with a hammer when cranking when you took it to be tested it could have moved just enough off that dead spot to work and it will have enough momentum to skip it.
