Default What wire on headlight Switch For Gauges?

Need to splice the wire behind my headlight switch so that my guages will dim along with my gauge cluster... Anyone know which one it is? 06 truck

pull the switch from the bezel and get a tester out. Turn on the lights and play with the tester and the dimmer. Find the dimmer wire - usually tan or brown or something like that and go from there.

let me know.

Better be careful tapping into the wiring on these new 06's. There a can bus system.

If it is a BUS system then there wouldn't be any wires it would snap onto the bus. Thanks for pointing that out. I've not worked on an '06 so...
