I have a 2003 Dodge with the 5.9 and auto trans. its only got 45 thousand on it. we've been using it to haul horse trailers for a few years and its completely stock. I just want something to improve the drivability a lil. mayber more upgrades later. Ideas?

 

Well same year truck I got well your just wanting drivability then i say go with Torque Converter cause stock convertors suck. Edge Programmer like a milelage max. OR Juice wit Attitiude. Air Intake and Exhaust your basic ungrades to any truck. This will also help with your MPG's

 

Smarty, or Edge Juice is a good choice. MP8 is a good choice too.

Converter, VB, input shaft is a good idea, but that requires transmission teardown.

Intake/exhaust will help a little as well.

 

All depends on how much power you want to add. Can safely go up to 60 extra hp, before the upgrades become mandatory.
