Okay im thinking about getting a cold air intake and changing the 90 deg elbow going into the intake manifold to a less angled one but not sure if it will help any do any of you guys already have this on your truck how much does it help your hp

 

Got the Afe Stage 1 on mine, comes only with the filter & shroud but I made my own intake tube. Helps the truck breath a lot better and makes the turbo loud. Don't forget to make the silencer ring MIA too. Didn't really notice a difference in mileage but did help power.

 

Ran an Airaid that uses the stock plumbing, worked like a champ!! Be sure to get a sock (prefilter) with your filter. Helps keep the main filter cleaner.

 

Just got my AFE stage 2 Cold air intake in just about 10 mins ago..




Now just got to wait til 5:30 when i get off to put it on

 

Here it is installed.. Just got done





It went pretty smooth for the most part.. Had to do a little fitting for the air intake temp sensor.. But other than that it took me right at an hour like the directions said. Now just to try it out
