Double Deep Tranny pan

im thinking about installing a double deep tranny pan in my 06 2500 megacab......is there gonna be any clearance issues? also am i gonna have to do anything other than drain fluid replace gasket and replace pan?

I'd go ahead and replace the filter while you got the pan off. I've got one that holds One extra gallon, and it's about flush w/ the t-case x-member. Your will probably go past about a couple inches.

You should not need to replace the gasket unless it's damaged. They are reuseable.

if that is a 48re, search for a deal on a 727 tranny pan, same thing but tends to cost less than a 48 re pan. 48re has been likend to the 727 with the added on overdrive unit.
