There is a foil wrapped hose on the pass side of the block, under the turbo. They stuck worm gear clamps on it for some dumb reason. Check and make sure they're tight.

Dont know if it is an issue on the CR or not but on our 24 valve the head gasket would leak on the passenger side front of the head to the outside. Never would leave any puddles but after so long, if you looked close you could see coolant stains where it had ran down the block right in front of the oil filter. Its one of 3 places. Its in the oil, leaking to the outside or its going out the exh.

But why would I lose coolant for a month and then stop losing it? Any thoughts?

Also check the hose going from res. to the radiator. My 01 leaked a gallon in a weeks time from there, but I never noticed a leak till a cold morning and I just happen to see it drip from inside of my bumper. Hoseclamp on hose at res. fixed the problem.
