2 Cycle Oil In Fuel?

ATF works I've used twice in the last year, just to clean things up.no more than a qt per tank right after its filled. ATF also attracts water that is in your fuel tank, trust me if you have'nt dropped and cleaned the tank there is a little water in there, it holds on the bottum of the tank and keeps it out of the pick up and pump and the rest of the system.

that opti two is good stuff, for every tank of fuel in the winter i run a quart of 2 cycle, ps diesel supliment, lucas diesel fuel additive and 3 gallons of kerosne in every tank, noticed better milage(2 mpg), warm up times (less time post heating), cold starts( smoother cold starts), and lower Egts (not considerably)

I guess I've been running 2 stroke oil longer than most everyone here or anywhere. I started that Monster thread over on CF about running it and it's still the 2nd most viewed thread over there. And it's been closed for a LONG time now!!!
Y'all can see my truck in my signature. I've experimented long enough now to tell you 3rd gen boys to start with 1/2oz per 1gal of diesel. After trying that ratio for a while you can then experiment up and down. I originally started running 1oz per 1gall diesel. My truck ran fine with no problems and I got real good mileage. I started cutting the amount after about 8 months just to see if there was a "break off" point. Now, iff I use less than about 1/2oz per 1gal diesel, my truck get noticeably noisier. My mileage doesn't go South, but the noise goes up. Just got back from a North Dakota hunting trip over Thanksgiving. The 2 tanks that were essentially highway netted me 19.5 and 20.2mpg. That's running 70-75mph also!!! Any questions, go here http://www.mopar1973man.com Mikes got more info here than I could or would ever think of digging up!!! Happy reading!!

It sure couldn't hurt. You're truck was made when we could buy LSD....maybe even before that!!!! The new ULSD is very dry; meaning it lacks the lubricity that the older fuels had. Now they are supposed to add lubricity enhancers, but are you gonna truck them to do right and do it all the time???? I don't. Start your truck at 1oz per 1gal diesel. and then experiment up and down from there!!!
