Well after some more research I found left coast diesel in the bay area CA. and Monroe transmissions in New Castle CA, leftcoast diesel is an authorized goerend dealer, however I have seen some reviews where they seem to be subpar on their builds and customer support, I talked to the guys at Monroe over the phone today, they seem clear and true, saying they do a lot of 47re and newer mostly for towing, they used a billet converter from a local shop and their turn around is a week or so, price is about 3500 or more depending on options. And last but not least, Firepunk, which everybody seems to love here, price is the same as Monroe's shop, good warranty and people swear by them and their customer support, the bad is they are not local to me and wait time is 2 to 3 weeks as advertised. Pus a hefty chunk of money as core deposit.

I used a local shop to do my triple disc and billet trans, I wish I could have done a Goerend trans or fire punk. Quote for those trans down here in tx was over $7k installed so that's why I went local. Warranty on mine is 3yr 100k miles so I have peace of mind for the time being. If you can do a triple disc and billet shafts/plate for under 5k then it seems like a good deal
