They were all torqued correctly when I finished the rebuild which was 8k miles ago. So if one was loose don't you think it would have done it before now?

And how would it leak through the cp3 into the oil?

Around the cp3 shaft that goes into the injection pump gear

That's what I was thinking. And that would be a result of a clogged return line right? Or the pressure relief valve on the injection pump?

I am not sure what causes it to leak.

After further investigation After reassembling it is leaking berwee the injector and the hold down clamp. Idk how that possible. You can't tell when it's running but as soon as you kill it you can see all the bubbles forming and the oil around the injector is real dialuted around it. Only in injector 1. So loosened everything up and kinda wiggled it and tm retightened everything and still doing it.

Did you check the orings on the injector? Can't remember for sure But I believe there are a couple spots I put some jelly on mine when dropping in the new ones. My guess is if one was not seated right then there are probably others too

That's the only one that's leaking. After I seen that I thoroughly inspected the other 5 and nothing. And the o ring looks good. No cracks or Knicks. What jelly are you talking about exactly?

I used a light coat of generic petroleum jelly to help slide them into place without the orings chaffing
