ok. so it must hold very little pressure since you can open an injector line with the truck off and not have fuel spray everywhere.

 

About 15 psi, that's what the valve on the fuel return gallery holds. Just enough to keep air out of the system normally and keep from drawing moisture, and, purge air form the system with a filter or component change.
