Ok I got the engine all rebuild and a new piston in that hole and deglazed everything. Re gasketed everything except the timing cover. I did not mess with the timing at all. Got the motor back in and everything hooked back up. Went to put the battery cables on and found that the fuel pump in the gas tank keeps running with the key off and key on. The only way to stop it is to pull the relay or fuse. I attempted to crank it and it will crank but not start. I found that when you crank the fuel lines to see where the fuel is it will never come out of the cp3 pump. It will only cycle through the 2 banjo bolts on the cp3? So my problem is that im not getting any fuel to the injectors. I tried unplugging and replugging all of the connecters to make sure something wasn't loose. I unplugged the FCA to try and set the rail pressure to max but still no fuel? All I did was take the fuel lines off and re gasket them. I also messed the ohms at the FCA and found 6.8 Ohms? Is it possible that I swapped the banjo bolts around and cause this problem? I haven't had a scanner yet to get any codes and my Edge Programmer is actin up and wont connect to give me codes.

Ok hooked up the scan tool and found the battery to be drained in 24 hours? and found no comm with the TCM or ECM. I had connection to the ABS and SRS and found low voltage codes.

You might of swap lines as you say. So fuel is going to the cp3 but no fuel going to the high pressure fuel rail?

As for the pump continuously pumping, that an interesting one. Never heard that before. I know that with just initially turn the key to on, pump runs for 2-3 secs. But if you turn the key on, then crank, then off, the pump will run for about 20-30 secs. It's the pcm that turns the relay off and on. So either the relay is stuck closed (try swap relays around) or the pcm for some reason is telling it to keep pumping.

You might of forgot to connect ground. It's common for them to glitch like that if there is a ground connection problem. I would definitely investigate that for sure

Ok today I found that I had no grounds for the ECM. Ran new wires and fixed that problem. Now my Fuel pump, A/c clutch and IPC is all working and I can use my programmer and stuff now. The only thing now is it still will not start. On my Edge I can read that it is only building up to 200psi and then will never start? I took all of the high pressure lines off cleaned and retightened them. Still no start and still only 200 psi. I tired unplugged the FCA still only 200psi. I tried unplugging the fan still only 200 psi. I can crack the lines and see that im getting some drops out of the lines on the back of the CP3. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your CP3 is dead! Crossover tubes tight? If you cracked the rail supply line it should shoot everywhere! IF NOT it's dead! You do have fuel in the truck and the lift pump is pumping? Crack the supply line to the CP3 there should be fuel coming out when key is turned on. "Pump on"

Im hoping it isn't and I just hooked something up backwards. The supply line is the one on top of the CP3 with no banjo bolt right? and could you post a picture of your lines into the fuel filter? I just want to see if mine are right. Yea when I key on and the in tank fuel pump is pumping I get fuel out of both the banjo bolt lines to the CP3.

White smoke could be a lot of different things such as a cylinder head gasket that has blown and coolant is burning. Black smoke usually indicates too much fuel is burning.
