Injectors or turbo???
So I've read lots of info on this subject, but I'm still not sure which direction to take. I'm trying to get more power and reduce smoke if possible. The jr on lvl 3 is way too smokey and I don't really notice a power gain from lvl 1-3. So oiginally i thought maybe injectors were worn and i should first upgrade my injectors after going 150k on the stockers. I think ultimately I'd want 100hp sticks. I've read good ones burn clean and won't be too smokey, but I've also read that the stock he351 won't support an injector that big. So now what? I need some reviews and input on this and eventually some price quotes on injectors and turbos if there's anyone that can price that. I'm looking to stay under $3k. I realize this will probably only afford me turbo or injectors and not both. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

a bigger turbo will lag more then stock. the stock turbo is the fastest spooling turbo. a bigger turbo will make your truck smoke more until you get up in the rpm's and the turbo lights up. so a bigger turbo will be better in the higher rpm's, but the stock will be better lower in the rpm's. putting 100hp sticks in will make it smoke worse. if you are already having smoke from unburnt fuel, then getting more fuel from bigger sticks just means more unburnt fuel.

a lot of companies will claim things that aint true. its just a way to get more sales. so cant always believe what they say. like an air intake that adds 23HP, yeah right. maybe if you had a 900HP truck and you were replacing the stock box. i know guys that have gotten over 200,000 and 300,000 miles on stock injectors. do you have an over all goal for the truck? that will help you determine what you need to do to the truck.
