Finally I'm not the one who broke something this time,

I have a friend with an 04 who just got 100hp injectors for his dodge (very similar to mine I think he got the 100hp just to flow more than my 60hp sticks ) well I noticed when I rode with him there's a small ticking noise. I brought it to his attention and he didn't really care. It's not bad and you only hear it at a certain rpm and when he let's off and it's dropping down to idle. It drives me crazy is there something he may have done wrong or not torqued property to cause this little clicking? If I can keep it from screwing up I'd be happy because I like competitive racing and jacked up motors just can't run with me

i dont know what the problem is, but if it happened just after installing injectors, i would go over them again. i would take my time and make sure the feed tube is correctly seated in the injector, feed tube nuts torqued correctly and injectors torqued correctly. i would do this on every injector, then drive it and see if the nose is still there. if its still there, a smart cummins person would have to help you.

Have him ask the seller about it. Sometimes injectors will do that. Find out if they are remanned or new.

hopefully they aint remanned. they have a higher fail rate then new injectors. bosch injectors are at the top of the list for best injectors.

Injectors are splendid I just dumped some injector cleaner I to his filter housing and 20 seconds later and nothing since and he's been running it in every tank
