Wheel compatability
looking to buy some tires. i found a used set off a 2010 ram 2500 that have the stock wheels on them. i have wanted to find a set of stock wheels as i like the look of them, and my wheels are peeling. my question is can a wheel off a 2010 ram 2500 be installed onto a 2004 ram 2500?
Thanks in advance

so i bought the tires and wheels. they came with center caps and lug nuts from the 2010. my old lugnuts are like 3" long use keys to get off. but the stock center caps wont work with
these so i have to use the nuts from the 2010 that the wheels came off of.Today i tried to change them and after getting one corner off i put the wheel on. it was a very close fit but it seemed to go. however when i went to put the lug nuts on they threaded on a few threads then stopped. the old and new nuts threads looked the same so i tried again and after a thread or two it stopped. so i used a ratchet with light pressure and it started to move again after 3 or 4 more threads it started to get tighter and tighter. i backed it off and neither of the threads looked obviously damaged. so i kept tightening it. it finally seated and squeeked the last few turns. all 8 went on like that. it required a standard ratchet and alot of muscle, but i never had to use a breaker bar, i only have installed one wheel lest i screwed up something. any thoughts? the pitch on both styles of lug nuts seems the same but it has a definate interference fit. which is harder the wheel stud or the lug nut. i would imagine the wheel stud since its much easier to replace a nut than the stud. but maybe not. so i need to know whether to continue or to stop and replace the 8 wheel studs and move in a different direction. thanks in advance.
