I got questions and I need answers

About 2years ago I replaced the ECM in my 06 dodge ram,a couple days ago I got in it and hooked up my bully dog tuner and it ran fine for a minute and then the security light,both brake lights and the engine light all came on so I brought it to the shop and they told me it had the wrong vin number in the ECM.i cannot figure out how the wrong vin number was put into it or if they put a used ECM with a different vin instead of replacing it with a new one


Any input will be greatly appreciated

 

It should not have run if the wrong vin was in it! Your key wouldn't work! It needed to be flashed to the original vin at the dealer there should be a sticker under the hood confirming that! The bully dog may have corrupted it! You may have to tow to the dealer. Costs 65. to reflash! Check all your grounds to just to be sure but that's a bad sign!
