lots of cranking no start

Hold on cowboy, dont send it to a shop just yet. ecm need 9v to funtion and it seems like you have plenty of voltage for that engine to run, it will sound terrible on ether, but you in a sort ruled out loss of compression. did you determine if you are getting fuel? start at the injectors and work your way back through the system and find out where the fuel is, if there is any going to the engine at all. it may be a pain but its worth the money. start cracking fittings and crank it over while you're buddy watches for fuel. this could be completely checked in about an hour or so

cracked the feed to the rail from the CP3 and have very very little fuel (enough to say no fuel) being supplied to the rail. do FCAs ever get stuck closed? i unplugged it and still got nothing

the truck was running fine and out of the blue died, your rail is dry, and the filter bowl is dry or barely filling, sounds alot too me like the lift pump!
