Default P0700 limp mode

Hey guys a recently bought a 03 cummins with a 47re. Last week my cel came up and showed 2 codes one for my heater grid relay and the second is p0700. I had the code scanned and it came up ad a bad tps. I bought a timbo apps and installed it and my tranny is still in limp mode. I shifts fine if I manually go from 1-2-D but it will not go into 4th. I think my lock up is working because the rpms do drop 100 when I'm at a constant speed. Any one have any insight on this. I'm thinking I'm better off dropping it off at the shop that a lot of people have recommended to me. Hoping this doesn't mean I'm in need of a new tranny. Thanks in advance guys

You said you bought a timbo app, what is a timbo app?
And you said you have a bad throttle position sensor. That could be tied in with your tranny in limp mode.
You may also may have an issue with your valve body.

Timbo apps is just an updated tps. From what I understand a bad tps or apps will cause my tranny to go into limp mode. But after I replaced it my tranny is still in limp mode.
Is there anyway to check if it is the valve body.

Get it scanned with a scanner capable of reading the PCM so you can get the codes. Without that you are just guessing.
