I was driving my 2007 dodge 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins. I was running 70 mph on the interstate and the motor just shut off. Now the engine will not even turn over. When you turn the key it does nothing. Half of my gauges will not read and the digital readout telling what gear you are in (its an automatic transmission) will not work. The headlights and radio still work. I just replaced the batteries, fuel filter, front hub assemblies, universal joints, and brakes. Any ideas on where to start looking for the problem will be greatly appreciated.

 

Test the batteries and check the grounds~!

 

I found a broken ground wire. Thank you for the advice. I hope that's all it is.
