I have a 2006 ram 3500 with a 48re trans. Have all forward drive gears but put into reverse nothing almost feels like a slight shutter going on. Have had no issues prior to this.
Any input to this problem would be appreciated

 

Automatic transmissions are not a good choice for a diyer to diagnose or repair in most cases. Many things it could be. Best choice would be find a good shop.
It'll cost you less both time wise and financially.
