Pulled in the shop today and smelled burning oil, shure enuf, the turbo puked.

1st off, before reading this please look at my sig.
This is the truck we are dealing with.
The engine is in stock form besides the aftercooler setup, a FASS, and a banks six gun I got for $20 so I threw it in there too. The aftercooler is capable of enough CFM to support 500hp. The only issue is I could not go any bigger than the stock 3.5" exhaust due to the narrow frame on the chev.

I'm just looking for some turbo options to support 350- 400hp. The motor is the 250hp rated motor on the plate. I'm not even sure which turbo it has.
I may do some CP3 / FCA mods but only if necessary.
Oh and forgot to mention I put an aeroturbine muffler on it.

wild looking truck! always loved the old body chevy's (rebuilding one myself as we speak!) 350-400 hp shouldn't he to hard to hit, there is nothing like the sound a fleece cheetah!

 

Ok, just got a he351. from what I gather it should be a good upgrade. We'll see!
